PTA

Meet the new PTA Board.

2022 - 2023

President

Arissa Hall I’m looking forward to supporting parent and caregiver engagement and bringing more resources to our school community. Ultimately, I’m excited to help realize the goals of the PTA board and larger BCCS community through my leadership.

Vice President

Shayla Coleman I am excited about the upcoming year and what we have in store for our BCCS community. I hope to continue to engage our community and be a supportive voice for our families and students.

Treasurer

Laura Rossi I’m looking forward to connecting with families at our events and working with this amazing group to further strengthen and build our school’s community.

Secretary

Em Schlesinger I look forward to using technology to continue to strengthen PTA transparency and communication!

VP of Upper Grades

Takeesha Sheppard Hi, I am looking forward to engaging, interacting, supporting and preparing our families for the next phases of education as the upper classmen in our community. My goal is to increase awareness and positive interactions between parents, teachers and our overall community.

VP of Lower Grades

Jade Harris I look forward to establishing a relationship with families of lower grades and educators that is productive and conducive to the students' learning. I would also like to strengthen parental involvement with the school community essentially to the point where they will also like their child(ten) to continue their child’s/children’s education to the upper grades at BCCS.

VP of Early Childhood

Rasha Jadalhack I look forward to connecting with families in our community and help them meet their needs as they navigate early childhood education. My goals are to help attract enriching experiences and diverse opportunities for our children.

Co-VP of Communications

Ashley Simpo I am looking forward to expanding the reach of the PTA to include parents who are less likely to engage because of scheduling conflicts and communication barriers. I am also excited to be more involved with the PTA in general as this is my son’s senior year at BCCS after starting as a first grader.

Co-VP of Communications

Chiara I look forward to further embedding myself within the school community and helping to facilitate the relationship b/t families and staff/admin. I hope that what I bring to the table serves to ease the barriers to entry for families looking to be more involved, and inspires interest in doing so. And, why not make a few things look good while I’m at it!.
